About Us

Hoot Owl offers you and your family 12 clean, comfortable lakeside cabins situated between two very secluded lakes. All of our cabins are housekept, which means we furnish all bedding, pots, pans, dishes, and microwaves. We ask that you bring your personal towels, soap, and shampoo.

The Lodge:

Our lodge features an indoor basketball court, ping pong table, board games, pool table, wireless internet, and great conversation. During the summer season, we offer activities ranging from adult volleyball, supervised children's activities, and bingo just to name a few. These activities are included in your week's stay at no extra cost.

For you our guest:

We offer a nice sand beach, swim raft, sand volleyball court, shuffleboard, children's playground, tetherball, canoes, and paddleboats. A 14' aluminum boat or dock space for your own boat is also included in your rental. We have 6 HP motors available for rent per week. During our gorgeous summer season, most of our cabins are rented weekly. However, sometimes a cabin may be available for a shorter period of time. Please give us a call to check if we can accommodate you.

A three-night minimum stay is required during the summer season and for the fall and winter, we require a two-night minimum.

Hoot Owl is open all four seasons. Spring offers outstanding fishing in both Hoot Owl and Pickerel lakes. Summer is dedicated to great family fun and creating lifelong memories. Fall in our serene part of the world offers the most vivid colors imaginable. You can drive or hike the area to enjoy. Fall is also the time for grouse, duck, and deer hunting. Winter in our area offers great snowmobiling on groomed trails that branch out hundreds of miles, all accessible from your cabin.
